I don't know where sleeplessinajijic stayed, but it doesn't sound like where I stayed. I found the accommodations pleasant and comfortable and I had plenty of hot water, clean and fresh sheets and towels. Joseph and his staff went out of their way to make sure my stay in Ajijic was excellent. I have been coming here for 2 years... More

This was our first trip to Mexico for the dual purpose of business & tourist. Joseph began working with us before arrival and made outstanding efforts to ensure the trip was pleasurable and successful. The decor is charming with surprises tucked everywhere. Favorites being the courtyard fountain with turtles, balconies & roof terrace. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.... More

Stayed here for a week in February. The only complaint we had was the weather. Very unusual for Feb, but it rained a lot. The hotel was great, the service excellent and the owner most obliging. We had room with kitchenette so it was a bit bigger. Only place we have stayed where you can push your suitcase under the... More

This was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. Not worth the price by any stretch of the imagination. Where to begin? Room was tiny, no room (not even floor space) to open a suitcase. Bathroom was tiny, no counter space to put out toiletries. Room was dirty, especially the floor (bring slippers!). Towels were completely frayed at the edges,... More

This family-owned hotel was recommended by friends who live in Ajijic and we found the location and atmosphere to be perfect. There's a rooftop deck with beautiful views, an excellent French restaurant and great location from which to explore both Ajijic and the neighboring towns on Lake Chapala. They have a service to and from the airport and can help... More

Pluses: Central location, clean room, decent king size bed, free wifi, good water pressure and an excellent on-site restaurant. Minuses: No pool, bare minimum continental breakfast, a somewhat sterile environment (compared to two B&B's we visited), noisy refrigerator and variable hot water supply. Buyer Beware: We agreed on a price of $953.19 for a 12 night stay in Room 2... More

My husband and I spent the night there looking for a romantic escapade, and we went first to another hotel which had only one available room and was more expensive than Casa Blanca. We went then to Casa Blanca and it was better than the other because the room was pretty much the same and the rate was a lot... More

I completely enjoyed my stay at the Casa Blanca. The owner, Joseph was so creative in the design of the Casa Blanca. Paintings, courtyards, towers. His hospitality was nonstop. The location across the street from the tropical park (Lake Chapala Foundation) made getting advice about galleries, shopping and local events very convenient. When I go to Ajajic again you, you'll... More

I needed to go to Guadalajara for a hip replacement. (1/3 the price in Mexico as same surgery in USA). A Dr. Friend of mine recommended a good orthopedic Dr. and the Casa Blanca in Ajijic as a good place to heal body and soul. I can say to many nice things about Joseph and his courteous Hard working crew.... More

Staying at Casa Blanca is wonderful. Joseph and his staff are never too busy to assist us or go out of their way for us. We highly recommend this hotel for all our friends. And talking to the locals since we've been here, everyone is in agreement that Casa Blanca is top notch, numero uno, here in Ajijic.
