Ten of us stayed for a week of relaxation in May and all our expectations were exceeded. This B&B is wonderfully designed throughout with many interesting features and decor. There are many quiet places to relax. The veranda overlooking the pool is great for breakfast and the views of Ajijic and Lake Chapalla very special. We had a different hot... More

After experiencing B&B's with cramped, high walled courtyards and no views during previous vacations in Ajijic, our recent eighteen night stay at Casa Tres Leones added a whole new dimension to our enjoyment of the village. Situated just above the Carretera, Casa Tres Leones makes the most of it's elevation and space with panoramic views of the lake and mountains,... More

Alix and Emille have created a beautiful spot just up the hill walking distance from the art scene in Ajijic. This small inn has the most beautiful gardens surrounding a pool and breakfast deck. We had three rooms in a two-story section of the inn that had a rooftop patio, a side sitting porch, beautiful bathrooms and comfortable art-filled accommodations.... More

I just came back from Mexico and I already miss Casa Tres Leones. I stayed there for a week with a friend and I felt like I was at home. Alix and Emile were so nice and helped us with everything from locating the perfect restaurant to giving us some after sun lotion. The organization was stellar, the rooms and... More

A wonderful small inn from which to explore Ajijic. Hosts Alix and Emile are charming and welcoming ant their breakfasts are superb. Lovely hacienda with exquisite accommodation, gardens and pool. Very close to centre of town. - a pleasant 10 minute walk. Spotlessly clean, and a pleasure to return to after exploring beautiful Ajijic. Would love to go back and stay... More

More

I have no experience with other Ajijic B&Bs, which in my book makes writing a fully comprehensive review of Tres Leones impossible. At the same time, we stayed there for a week, and so can be pretty confident about how things go there on a day to day basis. Moreover, the standard at Casa Tres Leones is very high in... More

Nestled in a quiet area just off the main drag, it's an oasis of repose that offers everything needed for the traveler on business, or someone who just wants to get to know the Chapala / Ajijic area. Breakfast is created by Alix, the chatelaine of the establishment, and it's plentiful and delicious, especially the bran muffins! The gardens are... More

My husband I and stayed at Casa Tres Leones in the La Cocina Suite which includes a full size fridge and stove, coffee maker, and all the kitchenware you could need...only thing missing was a microwave. We had big plans to make our own breakfast every morning, but Emile and Alix are such good cooks that we enjoyed breakfast on... More
