This year was my third stay at the 1202. Though older the rooms are clean comfortable and reasonably priced, but that is not all there is to a business. I left my money belt in my room when I left but didn't discover this until two days later ( there was a little more than $2000 Canadian and USD). I... More

Places to stay along the Alcan are few and far between, so I don't want to be too negative about the 1202 motor Inn. It's an older place, and we stayed in what turned out to be a modular multi-resident trailer like the kinds used for crews staying in out of the way places. This one may have dated to... More

They seem to be a bit better than the other options in Beaver Creek, but they answered none of their phone numbers. If you do not want to answer phone calls after 9 PM (when you urge people to call you, in your web site), at least leave a voice message! So try to call them the earlier possible, if... More

This is your basic run of the mill gas station motel. It's relatively clean and comfortable for a roadside motel. Coming up north is an adventure... if you expect a modern 5 star hotel, you shouldn't be coming up north! If you look at my other reviews, you'll know I'm qualified to make that statement! Most people that swing through... More

After the 11 hour trek from Haines, this was a great place to finally relax. We got the suite above the store which was great, a twin for our little one, double for our middle child, and kings for my daughter and my husband and I. Decent satellite tv, comfy recliners and a comfy bed was great. Yes, cleanliness is... More

I've stayed here multiple times and always find it to be an oasis in the middle of nowhere. I've stayed in the with-bath rooms that are drive-up-to-the door motel style and found them tiny but clean and perfectly acceptable. The without bath rooms are older and 70's style, but you can't beat their value if you're camping and want to... More

My son and I left Anchorage two days before we stopped here. We arrived cold just after the rain stopped at the boarder. We were on a new Harley motor cycle. We drove into town with no reservation, since we were going to stop in Tok, Ak. We drove on from there to Beaver Creek. We checked out several hotels... More

This motel features prominently in the Milepost. Unfortunately, in the winter there are very few other options between Tok and Haines Junction. (The location of the town makes it a logical half way point between Fairbanks and the ferry in Haines.) I reserved ahead of time and the staff was helpful over the phone but less so in person. We... We should have slept in our car. I can't describe how disgusting this place was. Drive as far and as fast as you can from this place.
