The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is great. Every room in the auberge has a view of the lake. We were here for the Ice Hotel in 2007 and came back in 2012. Both times, a great experience.

We stayed at the Auberge Duchesnay for a wedding, and were very happy with our stay. Our room was in the Pavillion Caribou, which was about a five minute walk to the main hotel where the restaurant and pool were. The room was quite simple, but comfortable. As it was raining the whole time we were there, we didn't get... More

Yep, NO FANS, I did stay in lodging cabins before and they did have fans, this one did not and it was quite hot last weekend. Also, what a big disappointment we had when we found out that we would be staying in a cabin (The Caribou) with no view, we had originally wanted to stay at a hotel in... More

Beautiful setting with nice trails, zip lines, kayaks, bikes for the family. Very relaxing. Saw fox and deer. We stayed at both a cabin and the main hotel (auberge) during our stay. Enjoyed both. Service was great. Wish we could have stayed longer. Close to one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in North America - Quebec.

We loved everything about our 2-night stay here. We did the 'Treetop Adventure Package' which included the treetop zip-line obstacle course, 2 excellent breakfasts, and one 4-course gourmet dinner. We loved the 'Treetop Adventure' so very much, I think it was the highlight of our entire Canadian vacation. (This would also be great for kids and families). We stayed in... More

First of all this hotel is hard to find w/ GPS, cant find it so we decided just to follow the directions from website seems simple and it was but one thing it didnt mention after the exit it is about 15/20 miles before you find the hotel and far from everything else. Once you get there it is beautiful... More

We just came back from a three day stay at the Station Touristique Duchesnay, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The facility is beautiful, a nice mix of rusticity and luxury, with a breathtaking view of the Lac Saint Joseph and the surrounding mountains. We stayed in the Auberge or main building, which is new and nicely... More

We were in Quebec during a heat wave in July and wanted to chill out after overheating doing city sightseeing - this proved the perfect place to spend a couple of days. The Auberge is run by Sepaq, the Quebecois parks authority, and is right on the edge of beautiful Lac St-Joseph. It has facilities for lots of outdoor activities... More

We stayed at one of the Auberge's 20 or so picturesque cabins on the lake shore. The cabin included plenty of parking, along with very easy access to the seasonal Canadian Ice Hotel / Hotel de Glacé (awe inspiring in it's own right) which was only 30seconds away as part of the same national park. The scenic postcard-views from the... More

We stayed at the Auberge for 2 nites this Feb. for a wedding at the Hotel De Glace, which is located on the grounds. The hotel was clean and the concierge desk was very helpful. The view is beautiful as the location is not very populated but also not many alternatives for dinning out. A group of people we were... More
