We stayed at Le Village Windigo in a self contained cottage for two nights whilst on a snow adventure. Our villa contained three bedrooms and bathrooms, and we fully self catered our meals as there was no store on the premises. Our villa was cosy and comfortable with an open fire, despite the freezing temperatures outside. The staff were very... More

Dear visitor, I'm so gald you had a nice experience and that you will recommand Village Windigo. The closest supermaket is 28 km far (Ferme Neuve). We always try to help with the missing stuff that we can provide. Otherwise, as Michel did for the fire, we try to accommodate our host and make their stay unforgetable. Hope to see... More

I spent a couple of nights at Le Village Windigo last month for a snowmobiling adventure. This was my first visit and hopefully won't be my last! The chalet we rented was of a post-beam construction, and seemed to be only a few years old. Well maintained with a modern kitchen, fireplace, cable tv, etc. For a rental property, it... More

Hello, Village windigo is 28km far from Ferme Neuve. It's an asphalt road for all of it. Only the last 500m are in gravel. But if you come by Val Limoge then you will have gravel all the way. I wish to thank you for the excellent comments about the restaurant and take good notes of your suggestion for more... More

The last hour drive to get to Windigo was as spectaculor as the luxurious accommodation that greeted us. Its my 3rd stay here and haven't stayed twice in the same chalet. Too many great choices. Chalets are a great value for families and group of friends. We usually travel in the winter and rent their snowmobiles; its fantastic as their... More

My new husband and I were lucky enough to have gotten married at Le Village Windigo this September. On our first visit, we knew this was the place we wanted to share our special day; water, mountains, beautiful surroundings and welcoming staff. Obviously most celebrations were planned to be outside on the beautiful grounds. Of course on the day of... More

Since our last visit they added the following services: - two new inflatable water structures (free) - evening beach entertainment (week-end) (free) - forrest obstacle course with a small zip line (free) - ATVs (paid) - life guard on the beach They solved all the issues in a matter of... The beach and the lake are great. The cottages are very nice and clean. Been there last summer for the first time and will go back in July 2012. We have not used the restaurant, the SPA or bought any packages. We just rented a cottage and had fun. In the cottages that we rented (3 and 5 bedrooms) there... More

It was our second trip to Windigo for what we call in Quebec "la semaine de relâche scolaire". We went last year just my man and our 2 sons (6 and 8 at the time). We had a condo unit which was very nice. The boys had to sleep on the pull out sofa of living room but they could... More

Arriving after seven hours on a skidoo, our 7 o’clock reservation was being changed again (originally 7:30) to 8:30. A little late but we were told that we would get better table service. Our package included a three course meal. We were not told until later by the gentleman at the check-in desk that this would amount to three courses... More

Peaceful and serene - the best way to describe Windigo. It has become an annual ritual for our family. We stay in the lake front condos and can't get enough of the amazing sunsets. It is such a great way to recharge. The condo itself is so comfortable and well furnished. Windigo is something we look forward to every year!
