We could sit at a table outside our room with a view over the St Lawrence, very wide this far from Montreal. Delightful. Very good meals. Proprietors very friendly and generous. We booked through Inntravel on a self-drive tour through Quebec, so aren't sure about the prices of individual lodgings.
