Stayed a night over Christmas holidays.
Not impressed.
You think a hotel located beside Hwy 401 would have enough traffic to deserve a facelift once every 20 years.
This hotel is very basic and, based on my view, hasn't been update in 20 years.
On top of all this, each room on the second floor has an unpleasant smell. In...

We stayed here for 4 nights in September and cant find fault in the hotel or its staff. Our room was large and clean and the beds were very comfortable with 4 pillows per bed! we slept very well!
The room not only had a fridge which was very handy but also had a microwave!
The complimentary breakfast was wonderful,...

I always enjoy my stay here. The ladies at the front desk and staff are cheerful, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable,
Just stayed for one night recently but arrived late in the evening and found the front desk staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds very comfy. Morning complimentary breakfast was definitely adequate and nicely presented.
The title says it all. This hotel has what you need but that's it. The staff at the front desk were quite accommodating when I asked to change the room from 1 King to 2 Double beds. The free breakfast is convenient and has a variety of choices from cereal to waffles. The lobby is bright and clean yet the...

The room had a microwave and 'fridge, which was more than we were expecting and it was clean and comfortable with free WiFi - no issues...

In spite of the many negative reviews, we decided to stay here because we have always found Comfort Inns to be clean and comfortable. The Port Hope property did not disappoint us. The girl at the desk was friendly and efficient and our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and pleasantly decorated. We had brought our own pillows because we had...

I've stayed here twice and I won't stay there again if I can help it. It isn't very clean, it's old and needs to be updated. It's not cozy at all. I did not feel comfortable staying there. The staff are average; not too friendly. It was quiet, but I wouldn't recommend staying more than one night.
I visited Port Hope with my partner for a one night getaway trip. We booked the Jacuzzi room. As soon as we entered, like one reviewer noted, the room needed a seriously makeover thanks to the 80s green decor from the soiled carpeting to the soiled sofa.
The Jacuzzi looked rather dated with pink porcelain tiles that matched the pink...
