I visited Mabou in late September and had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Glendyer. It is situated only about 5 mins away (driving) from the Red Shoe Pub and was easy very to get to. The house itself was cozy and welcoming. Even though Jill, the owner, was still at work when we arrived, she had left a... More

The 'Inn' is really a heritage house adjacent to a pretty stream that once provided power to a mill. The owner, Jill, has done a lovely job in maintaining the ambience of the place without compromising the amenities. The downstairs lounge is quite Victorian and a bit gloomy but our upstairs suite overlooking the stream was spacious, with a step-down... More

We spent three nights at the Inn while visiting Mabou, driving the Ceilidh and Cabot Trails. Our room was cozy and quiet, with a large bathroon. Breakfasts were delicious with eggs, fruit, scones, breakfast meats and lively conversation with the other guests. Jill was a wonderful host, when not making breakfast or tending to the rooms, she has a massage... More

The Glendyer exceeded our expectations, even after reading the sort of reviews below. Everything I can think of to say has been well said elsewhere on these pages. I would only add that if you want to maximize the musical experience, be prepared to stay up late; things around here really start happening around 10 pm. Jill had some great... More

The Inn is a few kilometers out of town, but well worth the short drive. The setting is lovely, next to a stream. The proprietress was very helpful, providing us with the locations of the infamous Red Shoe Pub for dinner and information about the Ceilidh across the street. The room was clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate in... More

My husband & I stayed in the suite. The bedroom, sitting room & bathroom were comfortable, immaculate & beautifully decorated. Jill, the owner, was friendly & went out of her way to be helpful. She was on top of all the details that make a perfect B&B. She has a book in the room describing what the B&B offers(a labyrinth... More

Really loved this place! Jill Coleman has done an amazing job in restoring and maintaining this inn. She shows great attention to detail in everything associated with the inn, including providing a binder with information in each room, and a daily weather report. We stayed in Room 1. It was clean and bright, with an attached private bath including jacuzzi.... More

This property was a few miles outside Mabou and the last km or so was down a dirt road with its fair share of potholes - glad it was not dark! The property is a largish building set in its own grounds. Our room was not very large, but adequate, though the bathroom was big and contained a bubblejet/hydromassage style... More

Host was not at home when we arrived but our name and room number were listed for us on the door. Our room was neat and clean and the ripple of the brook could be heard outside our window. The bed and breakfast is a little off the beaten trail but fit right with the peaceful countryside of Mabou. Buffet... More
