We were given a basement suite. There were no screens on the windows so you could not open them, There were dead bugs on the window stills and the floor. You could see dirty marks on the doors and walls. The place needed a thorough cleaning and paint.

We were looking for a cabin or efficiency within about 30 minutes of St. John's and Witless Bay when we found Comerford's listing in the Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Department's guide. We made the "reservation" by phone as we were driving east on theTCH, and it was such a wonderful bit of luck.

Centrally located on the Avalon Peninsula Holyrood a Destination near St. John's offers guests all the coveniences of home at a terrific value. Our three bedroom unit was well worth it and I have paid alot more for much less.
