We went here in June 2011,we stayed in a cabin and it was ok. The room was a little dirty, mostley the bathroom, but the important parts were clean like the toilet and the bed. It is a nice location, we went horse backing and golfing both within about a 15 min drive. The Diner at the motel had good... More

We satyed in a chalet, and if we had read these reviews first we definately would have kept going. The chalet was dirty and definately damp smelling. Understandably some dampness was to be expected with being so close to the river, but this was way beyond that. Our main reason for wanting a chalet was so we could prepare some... More

This place is FILTHY and it STINKS! We stayed in a one bedroom chalet and it was without doubt the worst experience we've had. Upon opening the door the first thing that hits you is the putrid smell. This is not the smell of new carpet or paint as suggested in previous review responses it is the smell of filth.... More

Seriously, don't consider this place an option, pretend it doesn't exist, sleep in your car if you have to. They have signs everywhere and it must be that all their money goes into those signs. We thought this place along the river would be nice, think again! The door was left open when we arrived, likely to air it out.... More

I camped here last weekend with my boyfriend and another couple. I can only review two aspects of Gaskin's Chcocolate River; the campground and the restaurant. The Campground - The campground was small and there were not that many spots. We had the only two tents set up in the whole ground - but I liked this. It was $25... More

I had spoken with the owner about staying here for a while a few months ago. when the time came and i arrived i entered and had to wait a while before anybody tended to me. when i finally got some service i explained that i had spoked with the owner and was going to be staying there. after a... Beautiful rooms, great location, great restaurant with awesome food every meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved chatting with the breakfast waitress who told us all about the Albert County Museum and her "Grampie"..it is so nice to find a place that loves to meet and interact with us tourists. They totally made us feel like family.

After getting rained out of Fundy the previous night in tents, we were desperate. Now I know why they had available rooms. I've travelled the world over and have paid less at a Hilton and got 100X the room. The serivice was appalling and the chalet we stayed in was absolutely filthy! As others have said, there was no $45... More

Please accept our apologies for the several inconveniences you experienced with your stay. As for the signs stating $45, they do say $45 and up. And that is the starting rate for motel rooms. As you stayed in one of our chalets, they do cost more than the motel rooms as they are larger and are located overlooking the Chocolate... More

We visited the rocks with the intention of staying at a motel somewhere nearby. The sign for this hotel said rooms starting at $45.00. When we went in to rent a room and asked about the advertised rate, we were informed that the rate advertised was their "off-season" rate. We were VERY unhappy that they would advertise a rate that... More

Our rooms are $45 and up depending on the time of the year, being that the $45 rooms are our off season rates. More
