The stay in Captains Inn was great. A nice place, warm welcoming hosts, a nice breakfast and a fantastic sorrounding by the national park. It was worth staying longer, but we had to leave after one night. If you have a chance to stay there, do so.

This was a very nice place, consistent with the reviews of it and with the description provided by the owners. Nice clean room, in a small inn across from the Bay of Fundy. Nice hostess. Breakfast was good, although not as elaborate as many at B&B's.

Being able to talk to other guests at Breakfast is always fascinating. The large group of Humming birds at the feeders is quite the site. Wonderful host and hearty breakfast. Would recomend anytime.

Captain's Inn was a great based camp spot for us, from which to tour the Fundy coastal region and the other Fundy hot spots . The B&B was clean and tidy with ample parking and seem to have a steady stream visitors despite the proximity to other Inns down and across the street. The hummingbirds were a lovely sight, I... The best part of the Captains Inn is by far the hummingbirds. While we have seen hummingbirds before, we have never seen at least 20 at one time. While eating breakfast we were entertained with the hummingbirds. The owner uses over 185 lbs of sugar each year to feed them. It was as entertaining for us as the whale watching... More

Good B&B, clean, tidy, check out the hummingbirds, I saw 11 at the feeder one afternoon. Breakfast was a choice between scrambled eggs, cndn bacon vs yogurt and cereal. It is on the main street so there is a bit of noise, but this was a good place. It is located beside Fundy National Park which is interesting, but not... More

We stayed for three nights May 17- 19, 2010 and had a wonderful time. The room and bathroom were VERY neat and clean. Being the off-season were were the only guests for the first evening and when other guest arrived we never heard a sound. The breakfast presentations were neat and you had plenty to eat. Elsie had a pleasent... More

I am currently on vacation in the Atlantic provinces and have stayed two nights at the Captain's Inn. The Captain's Inn is located marvelously at the western entrance to Alma, 200 meters from the entrance to the Fundy National Park. The room was spacious and the attached bathroom was comfortable. The down side was that I could hear the neighbors... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights while touring in New Brunswick. There is not a lot of accommodation choice in this area, and this was a real little gem. It is right opposite the harbour. Friendly owner, Elsie, made us very welcome and was always on hand with information or help if we needed - but this was never... More

There are not too many choices in Alma, but the Captains Inn is clean, quiet and a pleasant place to stay. Before choosing the Captains Inn, we looked at the Alpine Motor Inn and the Parkland Village Inn. Captain’s Inn was the best by far. The breakfast (included with the room) was OK, but nothing special.
