My husband and I went to a wedding at Misty Lake Lodge. The scenery is beautiful. The rooms are nice, pretty standard, but certainly very clean. The food was well cooked, but the portions were a bit small. I would go back just for the views of the lake!

The rooms have a mouldy smell, double bed in the room with an outdated couch, beds are hard and the mattress is squeeky, the water is yellow, dont drink it, the jets in the jacuzzi were rusted, when i opened the jets there was brown stuff coming out. The hallways are cold and the pool does not have any heat.... More

The place looks like a cheap motel on the outside. It's a little nicer on the inside. We just got a regular room. No fireplace or hot tub. The room was like a shoebox and terribly outdated. Awful pastel colors that are from maybe the 60's or 70's. Sometimes we like to bring the Xbox in case we have some... More

I won't give this hotel one star. The service was the worst I have EVER experienced. They're brochure and room information states that the front desk staff is available 24 hours a day. I was there as an emergency contact for someone, and received 5 phone calls in the night that they would not transfer. Their automatic phone system didn't... More

Pros" - location - friendly and accomodating staff - food was fine - would recommend but with cautions Cons - resort was quiet but one person in our group had to wait all day for her room to be ready - meeting room by pool was very humid and the roof leaked - many water and roof leaks throughout the... Here is a long history of our visits to Misty. A number of years ago we went. We enjoyed the food and accommodations so we made a return trip. Trip #3 we were placed in a very old looking room. We went to the pool and when we looked on the floor there were bugs. They were beetle like. My... More

The Lodge itself has a large dining room and a huge pool. The rooms vary from dated to romantic and all on one floor down a myriad of hallways. The out buildings include small basic "chalets" and newer attached condos. We used a condo and some Lodge deluxe rooms and were very pleased. Good service from the friendly staff. The... More

We would never stay again! We planned a weekend with friends and we were very disappointed with the accommodations, food or lack of food, staff and the manager on duty. When we booked, we were asked if we were with a wedding and we said no. Only to find out that they cater to these wedding guests and forget the... More

We were there for a wedding and were given a $50 room for $100. There were plastic wrappers on the floor, the 'closet' was a single shelf with a bar underneath over the desk, and the bathroom lighting was poor which helped hide that the shower door was rusting off its bottom hinge. Due to the bad taste I already... More
