Very clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again. The grounds were immaculate, as were the rooms. It was very nice to see a motel owner that takes pride in his establishment and pays attention to details.

Stayed one night in September en route to Jasper.Beautiful location just outside of town set well back from the highway.Room had two Queen beds and was vey clean and comfortable. Some train noise but didn't hear anything during the night. For supper try the family restaurant situated adjacent to the Knights motel in town, basic good food at a reasonable price.

we needed a place in between Vancouver and Jasper and ended up at the Mountain Springs Motel. Friendly staff, clean room, a few restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket and you can use the BBQ's if you want to.

While driving from Grande Prairie, Alberta to Vancouver Island, my wife and I stayed here for a one night enroute stopover. Because we had our pet dog with us, we were accomodated in room 12 which was one of the "pet friendly" rooms. The room was basic, but, even though we are pet lovers, we found the smell of past... This was a great place for us. We were concerned about what might await us, given that the price was so ridiculously low compared to all other hotels we stayed in BC. However, we arrived mid-afternoon and were greeted with our room being ready for check in, told how to use the laundry facilities, and were given carte blanche of... More

Some of the reviews mentioned a problems with noise from the trains. This was not a problem for me who is a light sleeper. The owner suggested that we keep the bathroom door shut and we would not be bothered by train noise. We did this and had a great sleep. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The unit... More

New Owners very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and spotless. Every bit as inviting as the pictures show. Friends stayed in another room and were also very impressed. Reasonable rates also. Would recommend to anyone. Trains going by behind the property did not bother us at all but if you are a light sleeper you might notice them.

Small motor inn single floor motel with an RV pull through area. The grounds are very large with lots of grass and well maintained. Basic rooms but large, clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the main building backs up to the CN mainline with trains on average every hour. The second building with four rooms is better situated and away from... More

Made a reservation to stay on the 5th of June, and we were pleasantly surprised at the warm friendly service we received. The grounds were beautifully kept, with flowers everywhere. I don't know why the last review stated that the pic's on the web site must have been enhanced as it was exactly as the pic's showed. We used the... More

Stayed here for two days while I was in town for work. The new owners were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and well kept. I arrived very late in the day and the owners were very helpful in getting me set up with a room. This would be my first choice if I stayed in Barriere again.
