We were at first concerned that the Alcova del Doge was too far out of the city, but it was well worth the long bus journey to and from La Serenissima each day. The rooms are immaculate, the staff gracious and helpful, and the breakfasts excellent. Two local restaurants were recommended, both of which were perfect.
