Travelled 6 hours to the Fargo Marathon (awesome). Had a reservation at the Rodeway INN at a certain price and when we got there, he changed the price and charged us more. When we tried to talk to him, he said he could cancel the reservation and reserve it at the going rate... (there were no rooms to be found,... More

We stayed at the Rodeway because all of the other local hotels were booked solid for the marathon. Upsides: Cost Location (if being next to the interstate/K-Mart matters to you) Cleanliness Minimalism Nice folks at the front desk Free wifi Free breakfast (waffles, anyone?) The plastic flowers in the planters outside made me laugh Downsides: It ain't exactly in the... More

Room was poorly lit and I was about to find out why. Cord for table lamp was conveniently tucked behind the bed and not plugged in to the outlet that was there. Went to plug in laptop in the only accessable outlet available without unplugging the alarm clock (found out that didnt work either) and found out the hard way... More

Well priced, good location, and front desk was friendly. Bed was new, linens were fresh, and room and bathroom were very clean. The pool and hot tub area was nice to have for an economy hotel. I'd stay here again without question.

While a budget motel, you do expect certain things of every motel. Expected: clean and minimum maintained. The Rodeway Inn was neither. From the broken sink, the broken air conditioner and the nicotine stains running down the wall, this was one of the worstmotels I have ever stayed in.

Yep its an older hotel. Rooms are dated. I had a mini fridge, micro wave, hair dryer, ( you have to ask for them ). the pool was nice and warm along with the pool area. The front desk staff were very accomodating when I was asking directions or needing something. For a little, reasonably priced room you get way... More

We came into Fargo and this looked OK. We were hauling a couple of motorcycles and wanted a room where we could keep an eye on them. The fellow at the desk said that would cost more for a ground floor room and we said we'd stick with the cheaper room. The place wasn't full and we felt he deliberately... More

The hotel smelled of "old people". A strong odor of cologne in the hallways. Like it was masking the smoke smell. The bathroom sink was plugged and the shower leaked all over the floor. The carpet was old and you could see many stains. One of the lamps didn't work. This hotel had nothing that other hotels do. Like coffee... More

We are retired and traveling the US by car for two months. Every motel along Interstate 94 was booked solid in every city in North Dakota. The explanation given was a renewed interest in oil and workers were flooding in and booking motel rooms. Be sure to book in advance. This motel had one room left and we grabbed it.... More

This hotel was terrible. The hallways and rooms smelled nauseating. The room had not been cleaned and the blanket was full of hair. I got a fungal infection from the towels.
