“"Non-smoking" is kind of a joke”

As usual, this Holiday Inn Express had great amenities, comfy beds, nice breakfast, quick internet, etc. My only complaint is that the place reeked of cigarette smoke throughout. Our non-smoking room took about an hour to clear up after coming in the door, and we had to put a towel at the base of the door to keep the hall... More

I am sorry about your experience with the cigarette smoke smell. All of the rooms in the hotel are being converted to nonsmoking and there are only six smoking rooms left on the property. Until the conversion of those 6 rooms on the second floor is complete, all rooms on the first floor are nonsmoking and have been for years.... More

“nice stop over”

This hotel was a very nice stop for us on our way to Myrtle Beach.Very clean,quiet and close to exit from I-95.Friendly staff and reasonably priced.Complimentry breakfast is what you would expect with a decent choice of quick food to get you back on the road.We would stay here again if on the same route south.

“Very nice stop”

There are a huge number of hotels in this area. Just off of I-95 at exit 121. Also a huge number of places to eat in all price ranges. There is a Cracker Barrel within 100 feet. Never stopped in this area before. Will do so again if in the area. Very nice hotel, staff. Clean. Nice breakfast. Many choices.... More

“Decent place for a quick stop”

We were the typical I-95 travelers who needed a one-night stay. This place filled the bill. It's clean, modern, and has a reasonably good (free) breakfast. Easy on/off to 95. One small suggestion: The evening desk person could have smiled. It's not that she was rude or anything, but she just didn't seem very happy to be there.

I am glad you enjoyed most of the aspects of your stay. Thank you for sharing your observations of the front desk associate who checked you in. I will review with all of our front desk associates the importance of our guests feeling welcomed and valued. More

“Way better than I would have expected”

We did a long spring break drive down I-95. This hotel was a great find. Convenient to the interstate. Friendly staff. Clean room, if smallish. The free breakfast was over the top: healthy selections and hearty choices too. Cracker Barrel next door offered a decent dinner the night we arrived.

“Perfect Fit”

We were on our way to Myrtle Beach and found a great price for our 1 bedroom (2 queen bed) room. We requested a roll out bed and had one delivered before we made it to the room. Continental breakfast in the morning and couldn't be any closer to hop back on 95 in the morning. great stay

“surpassed my expectations”

I was travelling to NYC for business and had to stay overnight somewhere on the way and picked this location because they had a good price on American Airlines website. The room was excellent and perfectly clean, bed was comfortable, water pressure was good. Can't find anything to pick on, really.

We used this hotel as a quick overnighter on our way to Florida. We arrived late at night and got our rooms without issue. I wonder if this motel started out as another chain. It isn't as nice as other HIE's that I've stayed in. The worst part was it must of been weeks since the area behind the bathroom door was cleaned.
