This converted old school house makes a neat motel with ambiance. Our room was very large with two double beds, refrigerator and coffee maker. TV had lots of viewing options. I have stayed at this property on several occasions over the years. Really no other place in Spruce Pine. The bathrooms are small, the TV is small, the beds are uncomfortable, the carpet needs replacing, and the furniture is cheap. The owners need to spend some money to upgrade this place!!! More

The room was very clean and neat, room heater worked well, good water pressure in shower. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Wi-Fi internet hookup was quick and easy (unlike many places). My family stayed in the Principal's Cottage, this place was not labeled and we had to call the desk to make sure that this wasn't someone's residence. Pinebridge Inn is the remodeled Harris schoolhouse where I attended Elementary school and my father attended High School. Schoolrooms were made into hotel rooms, with lots of room and high ceilings.
