My fiance and I stayed Faversham House in a quest for a romantic weekend away close to Perth. We found Nola and Richard to be very welcoming, striking the perfect balance of friendly and engaging without being overbearing. Nola was recovering from knee surgery at the time, yet we were taken care of superbly. We were made to feel at... More

We stayed here for two nights in a manor room for a special birthday. The owner was away so we were left to be attended by their daughter and her husband, or something like that. When we arrived, they were just about to head out so we were hurriedly shown around and then left to our own devices. Not a... More

We booked in for one night. The only rooms available were in the servants quarters which didn't have an ensuite, but we weren't concerned about this. The room, not in the main house, was small but comfortable. Bathroom was nearby and was clean and functional. As we were the only people staying in the servants quarters we were given a... More

My partner and I recently stayed at Faversham House. Pulling up it looks absolutely stunning, however things went a little downhill from there. Think Fawlty Towers. We stayed in the somewhat overpriced "servants quarters" and on leaving I felt like we had been treated like servants by the owners. After spending 2010 travelling throughout the developing world I would say... More

My partner Susie and I have just relished in 2 days of absolute peace and quiet at Faversham house, whilst there were other guests staying there, one never saw them apart from breakfast and certainly did not hear them. Having been greeted by Nola and shown the necessary parts of the house, she was not seen again until breakfast, what... More

Last week we headed off to York for a two night stay at Faversham House. We were slightly apprehensive, as the last time we had stayed at Faversham House some years ago we found the owners less than friendly. However we had found a very good promotion on the internet and decided to try again. As soon as we arrived... More

We recently spent a couple of nights at beautiful Faversham House and must say that it was a wonderful experience. We had the Mount Brown suite overlooking the town and up to the hills behind. The suite was very roomy with a separate dressing room and decent sized and well equipped bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and the king sized... More

Our 2 nights at historical Faversham House was lovely - very much enjoyed drinking a glass or two on the upstairs verandah - very relaxing and then also, the next day, a glass or two with other guests in the drawing room. Lovely fire and comfy lounges. We stayed in a very comfortable room with a 4 poster bed, the... More

great rooms and very comfy beds. We had the Mt Brown suite which looks over to the hills and led straight out to the upstairs verandah, which was a great place for an afternoon drink or a morning coffee. Only a short stroll into York where there are quite a few places to eat. Definitely on our list of places... More

Our 2 night stay at Faversham House in York was truly memorable, the most beautiful place we've ever stayed at in Western Australia... We stayed in the Pines Veranda room - which led on to the veranda, the room was gorgeous and it was great having an ensuite, we loved being able to open the doors onto the veranda and... More
