We only stayed the one night, on our way through. Lots of dirt but then that's what the country all about is like. Check out time was later than normal so we took the opportunity to head out to Old Halls Creek and the attractions between that and Halls Creek proper and were still in time. We had heard all... We stayed 1.night en-route to Broome and though it is a fairly basic park we found no issues with either safety or noise. The book in was friendly, after I found out the lady owner was from Argentine we had a nice chat about Malbec. The facilities are basic but adequate and clean. The price is fair and hey Fitzroy... As Halls Creek is on the edge of the arid regions do not expect plenty of lush green grass. Nearing the end of the Dry season the caravan park was getting a bit dusty. When we arrived just after lunch it was only half full but by dusk it was fairly full. The staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets and... More

Only four separate thefts by and visits by the police last night... (We were personal victims of one). But this is not a once off event. Overgrown lawn, overpriced, leaves in pool, junkyard...SAFETY is key to a great travelling experience, this is not a place where you will find it. Do not stay here - it is not safe.

Basic accommodation but cleaned each day and very nice lady who was very helpful to me and my family. We were told to pass through Halls Creek but stayed a few extra days even. Loved the area and the art centre and the info centre at Halls is excellent.

Mixed caravan and camping ground. Clean showers and toilets. Small pool & gas BBQ facilities. Has shop open 7am-8pm. Camping ground site has a fenced border with street lights. Ground was crowded, but not many other camping sites nearby. Surface was grass.

We checked into Halls Creek Caravan Park during lunchtime and found all that was available were powered and unpowered sites. This suited us exacty, for we had our own tent, and were happy to pitch it in the largish shady, grassed area. There were a number of conveniently located taps in this spot and the shower/toilet block was a minute's... More

After travelling for two weeks and staying in lovely caravan parks all the way this was a huge disappointment and overpriced for the facilities compared to other van parks. Very basic, very plain. Pool area is sad looking, cabins look like a row of port a loos, campgrounds are barren and sites are lined up like a shanty town. Very... More

Camping at the Hall's Creek Caravan Park feels a bit like staying at a detention centre. The grounds are surrounded by a high barbed wire fence. Not sure if it was to keep trouble out or in... The grounds themselves were fine but nothing special. For tenters there was a small grassy oval that you could pitch on. The cost... More
