We found this place on tripadvisor and highly recommend it for an excellent meal before a night time viewing of the stars at GinGin observatory. The beautiful setting and wonderful service as well as the location (5 minutes from the observatory) make this a great place to stop for a Harry and well cooked dinner beforehand. Kids (and adults) will... More

We were greeted by the very warm and personable June once we arrived. The animals were really warm and welcoming too! My son loved Angel the little puppy who made a beeline for us and gave us really nice cuddles. We had fun feeding Mocca the Alpaca, and watching him bully the kangaroo and Eddy the emu. We were also... More

This is a "must do" if you are visiting the Perth, WA area. Traveling from California to visit my family (my sister, nephew and my parents) in WA, my sister had booked this B&B for our overnight stay because of it's proximity to the Gingin Observatory where we were going for the night stargazing program. We went to the Gingin... More

Our family had booked a stargazing evening at the Gingin Observatory and we booked Amirage for Dinner. From the moment we walked through the gate it seemed we had entered into an enchanted garden. The area is so beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing. June the owner is a very special person and made us feel right at home and couldn't... More

We had booked a moon-gazing session at the Gingin Observatory and were looking online for a place to stay overnight. We found this B&B and mainly corresponded with June over email - the booking process was smooth. We arrived in the afternoon and were immediately offerred some scones by June who was about to bake them in the oven. So,... More

We had a lovely weekend at this hotel/B&B. The food was fresh and the House Specialty a must - steak with peppercorn sauce with the best chips and salad - a treat. And then there's the wonderful character June, the proprietor, who went out of her way to make everybody welcome. Perfect place to stay if you are going to... More

Me and my friend wanted a relaxing getaway in to nature in proximity of the renowned Gingin Star Observatory. We were captured from the image of the lush garden and the 'retro-with-stile' bedrooms we had seen on the Amirage website... and it turned out that our curiosity had driven us to find an amazing place! The lady that owns and... More

We found this amazing place and even more amazing woman who owns it quite by accident. We were on a bicycling holiday around the SW coast of WA and, 60km from the nearest town, got caught in a raging thunder storm. After several hours of battling the elements we literally stumbled across this oasis in the countryside -from memory, about... More
