After having a workmate rave about Middle Lagoon, my wife and I decided to see what all the fuss was about. We booked a cabin and when we arrived we were greeted by Tammy and he family and made to feel very welcome. Our cabin with shade cloth walls was clean and tidy and gave us a great experience in... I have stayed at Natures Hideaway quite a bit and only experienced pleasure. Sometimes the road is rough but that is part of the wilderness experience. Cabin 5 has been especially good and I know with work continually been put into them it is an alround great time. All linen cleanand the cleanliness has been to a good standard. Would... More

My husband & I travel to WA as often as we possibly can & have been to Middle Lagoon on 6 different occasions & is our favourite place to visit on the Dampier Peninsula. The staff are always friendly & welcoming & happy to have a chat & share their expertise with the local area & the sense of community... More

We have been travelling to Middle Lagoon on and off since it started it started in 1996. We have seen it grow from just a couple of beach shelters into what it is today. The driver for all of this was Peter Howard and his family. We have stayed in various Cabins as well as camping and found each experience... More

We have been staying at Middle Lagoon for several years now and it's hard to find a more pristine peace of paradise. You have a selection of beautiful beaches, walk the reef at low tide or catch a mud crab in the creek. I think you will find that after enduring a tough year, followed by a wet and stormy wet... More

We went to Middle Lagoon for again Easter this year after having a great experience the year before. We stayed with friends in one of the cabins as they had a young child and wanted to avoid bringing all the camping gear with them. The views are simply amazing and the lagoon is truly a treasure. The family running the... More

We have read some of the reviews but they seem to relate only to the cabins, which we have never stayed in, but hasten to say that we have had friends stay in 2 of them and on both occasions they were happy with the condition of the cabins including the cleanliness of them. The bed linen was clean and... More

I went to Middle Lagoon because Cape Leveque is just too busy these days. Both places are beautiful, with red rockscapes and powder soft, clear white sand beaches and glorious water. Middle Lagoon has magnificent camping, some private and some more grouped out on the open flats. The more private you choose the further to the toilets and showers and... More

We booked the ensure cabin online. The cabin is very run down...the sheets were torn, bed frames rusted, holes in shade cloth and mozzie nets, kitchen cupboards are broken. Unfortunately the cabin was filthy, the floor wasn't mopped, the fridge had old food in it, hair on the stove top, bugs and dirt in the kitchen crockery/ utensils, a used... More

I'm am sorry the cabin was not up to standard when you stayed. We had a hard time staying on top of things last year, after my dad (who has run the business since it's started) passed away suddenly. We have worked hard over the off season to improve the facility and have replaced the furniture,BBQ and built a new kitchenette.... We stayed for 2 nights in the ensuite cabin($250pn) The cabin had not Been cleaned from the earlier occupants and it took 4 hours to find someone to change the dirty sheets, remove old food from the fridge etc. Clean towels did't arrive until the following afternoon! Fortunately we had our own eating utensils - the crockery was filthy. The... More
