I took my partner here for his 34th birthday. Was welcomed to the cozy mudbrick "The Retreat" cottage with a toasty gush of warm air from the gas fireplace and a well-lit lounge room. The cottage was quite big, comfortable and clean. The B&B breakfast facilities didn't include eggs or bacon (funnily enough..?) virus's lovely strawberries, organic yoghurt, freshly squeezed... More

“Truly a garden retreat”

We stayed here because we specifically wanted a place in Eltham. And for a weekend away {in Eltham} I don't think you could stay somewhere nicer. The cottages are set in a gorgeous native Australian garden. We stayed at the Retreat for our wedding weekend. Our family booked out the whole venue (3 cottages) and got a discount.
