I arrived mid afternoon, the staff were very friendly and hospitable upon check in. I had a swim then went and had dinner and what a dinner. The lamb Valentine was the best meal I have ever had, away from home. I am away every week and stay at the Sofitel and Marriott motels whilst in the major cities and... More

We found the motel to be overall, very reasonable. Took a room furtherest from the highway to minimise noise. Unlike some others we found reception staff quite ok & I dont really know what the problem paying the night before is anyway - afterall you only have to pay once & you can take off when you wish. Food was... More

A family owned business, as in Ädams"family. This place defies discription. The reception bordered on obscene, rude, impatient, didnt know what she was doing. Cats were everywhere in dining room, and my wife seen a cat laying on a set dining room table. The bathroom was filthy. The food was the only highlight, beautifully cooked and presented and the waitress... More

I had presumed the first requirement in the hospitality industry is to be hospitable. Our host was a little remiss. Other than that- the bed was clean, the water was hot, and the location was convenient. On the down side, the air-conditioner made a dreadful noise and we, 3 couples, were informed abruptly on check in that we would have... More

We stayed here to break up the drive from Melbourne to Adelaide. The room was perfectly fine. Not that security seems to be a problem, but the bathroom windows (large enough to crawl into) are not equipped with a lock. Our room was one of the $11 variety at the back of the motel, furthest away from the highway. We... More

A welcome stay on a very rainy night. On the outskirts of the town, there were three qualities of room available, we chose the middle one (about $100 for one night). It was clean and warm once the heating had kicked in. A reasonable place for an overnight stay. The WIFI worked well (at a price slightly higher than normal... More

Just passing thru, stayed in one of the older rooms for a cheap price, had everything but no power point for the kettle to plug into easy. I would say average for a motel in the country. I did not eat in the restaurant. More

This is a family-run motel, conveniently located 2km from Bordertown, which is a popular stopping point between Melbourne & Adelaide. The rooms are basic, but a reasonable size. Our bathroom was filthy. On checking in, we were invited to eat in the Motel dining room, and informed that there were “no decent alternatives in town”. We decided to accept the... More
