We were given a 2 bedroom villa for our stay and found this particular configuration very strange. In the main building was a nice kitchen and living area as well as an okay bathroom. We assumed our Queen bed would be upstairs, but after taking our cases up there, only found bunks. Puzzled, we retraced our steps but couldn't find... More

Stayed for 4 nights to attend a wedding. Accommodation was relaxing and well suited to the environment of North Stradbroke. The 3 bedroom easily accommodates two families of four as there is an extra set of bunks in each villa not included in the room numbers. The price is very high for the accommodation but seems to be what you... More

Overall had a lovely stay at the Allure and hope to come back one day. It was perfect for our accommodation for Easter. Good location but you do need a car if you want to go to the Point. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which was in the front row near the road but we weren't really effected... More

This was first time back to Allure after many years and we found it a good base for a short stay. The main issue for younger families is the odd design of the two bedroom units separating the bedrooms across an external walkway. Staff were very friendly on booking and advised what would work best for us and we ended... More

Great stay in a self contained, modern beach shack! Clean, spacious and nothing was tooth trouble for the management, lovely people! If I was to stay again, I would prefer the space and outdoor area of the 1 bedroom apartment, sleeps 4 and has full kitchen inc, oven. Overall, very pleasant stay ;)

First time staying at the resort. My family of four got a villa at the end of the strip right next to the smelly bins. The lounge area is nice and modern. There's absolutely no mobile network coverage which was frustrating. The resort is located a fair distance to the main point look out area and the car mileage racked... More

Stayed at the Allure for 4 nights in January 2013 (this is the third or fourth stay in the last few years). Location is good as it is nearby Home & Cylinder Beach. Allure is also pet friendly (dog also stayed). We booked a 1 bedroom villa which had the master bedroom detached from the living/kitchen area (there was also... More

This is our third stay at the resort. This time in one of the beach shacks, previously in the two and three bedroom apartments. We loved the shacks. They are quiet. The architectural design is clever in terms of privacy and its very livable: lovely upstairs loft bedroom, great living area and small deck with bar-b-que set in a quiet... More

We stayed here over the Christmas period, we stayed in the 1 bed beach shack and were very happy, definitely stay here again. Room was tidy and clean, friendly staff.! Although it can get a little noisy from the bowls club next door wasn't really an issue even with our 8 month old baby.

My husband & I have previously stayed in the shacks at this resort for a maximum for 2 or 3 days & found it quite well appointed & pleasant so decided to book for a whole week. BIG MISTAKE! Allure have recently taken over the management of the resort & have started to make some positive changes (long over-due maintenance... More
