Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park was a lovely little surprise. The communal spaces were nice and tidy, with gorgeous gardens and pool area (surprise pool is heated, good size and inviting, including shade and poolside chairs and lounges), nice camp kitchens one with their own little herb garden. It had a nice mixture of permeant residents and visitors. It offers plenty of dated but clean and tidy ensuite sites. Is located close to the water and the local butcher, bakery and IGA (all very good). We really enjoyed our weekend here and will definitely visit again.

Beautiful park, great welcome at reception, amenities and camp kitchen were first class, very friendly park you won’t be disappointed, short dive to Rainbow Beach. Our advice is to book early as it’s a very busy park. We have no hesitation in recommending this park on your travels. Happy travels.

We spent a lovely week at Tin can bay tourist park during the school holidays. We cannot recommend this park enough! The booking process for four sites all with different dates back at the start of the year was seamless and worked perfectly when it came time for the stay. We had massive sites at the end of the park, although away from the pool and entrance, it was a great spot for a large group and the amenities still really close proximity. Our kids loved interacting with the wonderful park managers and it was so refreshing to have managers that don’t rule a park with an iron fist. Our group was accommodated for so well throughout our whole stay. The local shops are great, we highly recommend the butcher and bakery! We even treated ourselves to barefoot bowls and Chinese at the country club. The dolphin experience is much different to what we as kids had in the 90s but still nice to get up close to the animals but be prepared for line ups and a short interaction. We will definitely be back!

Lovely helpful lady on the desk with local knowledge. The park and amenities were very clean and it's in a beautiful, quiet location. We wanted to stay longer but had no extra time, so we plan to go back as we really liked it.

I was lucky enough to find the TCB tourist park a night from hell in a place on the same street. Straight away Mel and her team made me feel so welcome. The cabin was ideal for a short or long stay, fully appointed and a real pleasure to come back do after a long day of flood relief. The staff were incredibly helpful and the wood fired pizza van was unbelievably good. I can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to coming back as soon as I can. John - RapidActionSport.

We have stayed at Tin Can Bay Tourist Park for many years now and love this quiet park. The office staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make our stay extra special. Every visit we find new improvements. The park is always immaculate and management and staff are working continuously to keep the grounds in top condition. The amenities are modern, are kept spotless and are very comfortable. The camp kitchen is very well stocked, spacious and well lit. The pool and pool area are lovely and hves a bbq area and extra toilet as well. The sites are very spacious and there are quite a few en-suite sites available. There is ample space for our car, kayak or boat, whatever we bring. We have camped here for years with tents, a Palomino slide-on camper and now with our new caravan. Oh, and yay for great tasting drinking water! We will be back again! Don and Gee
