Our two young children, 4yrs and almost 2yrs, really enjoyed their time. Matt was very patient and inclusive during our stay and especially feeding times, which was a real highlight and kept the kids busy morning and afternoon. They also enjoyed the sandpit/swing area and we appreciated having the shared deck which had a gate. This allowed our little ones to play with the other 2 families on the deck where we could see them while we cooked dinner. We appreciated the recent renovations also! While staying, we also visited a small section of cedar creek, visited Mt Tambourine township where we found a lovely nature playground and also really enjoyed Canungra which also has a modern playground and Mum & Dad could enjoy a coffee close by. Oh and the glow worm caves!

We stayed for 2 nights and were warmly welcomed by the new owners, Matt and Nambok Howard. The cottage was simple but well kept and had all the necessary amenities. The kids got to do two animal feedings a day and they loved it! Even though they were initially a bit scared, Matt was very patient explaining everything to them and introducing the animals individually. They also got to collect eggs and have them for breakfast. He was most helpful in all our requests and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and educational farm stay with kids!

Great family experience. Lots of activities available on site but also close enough for day trips. Accommodation was clean, amenities perfect for family and groups and the hosts were accommodating, kind and knowledgeable. Kids loved the animal feedings! Beautiful outlook, and great value overall.

Thank you for your review and feedback. Clandulla Cottages has recently changed ownership and management, and we are working on making improvements to the cottages and farm to bring more enjoyment and fun to families. And help create new lasting memories. There are now over 70 individual animals on the farm for families to feed and interact with. It was a last minute decision to book 2 nights stay at Clandulla and we were not disappointed. Robyn, Ezie and Farmer Jay were extremely hospitable, allowing the kids to participate in the farm activities and feeding all the animals.. They were also patient to answer endless questions from my 7yo and 4yo. In the evening, they helped to set up the camp fire eh oh got the kids very excited! The estate has a big open lawn and a small sand pit area where the kids could run around. Accommodation was very comfortable and very clean! Highly recommend visiting with kids .

Thank you Robyn, Ezie & Farmer Jay for being such a warm & welcoming family. By day 2 she my daughter asked to come back in Term 4! She had great exposure with Robyn in that small time when preparing food for the afternoon feed and getting 1:1 insights on farming responsibilities and work & the stinging metal lol..... Coming before the rush of school holidays we picked our time really well. Ezie I loved your energy despite about to give birth in August with N#2 & holding little Noah with his battery tools being part of the feeding sessions. Farmer Jay thank you for taking us through a look at the former cafe & barn giving us some history of its former glory days & the transformation since your family bought the farm 3yrs ago. We will be back in deed. It was my first marshmallow fire pit with the 3 of us, mums first toasted marshmallows. We miss seeing the 12 peacocks, Joe Joe the kangaroo & the peace & beautiful surroundings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our farmstay experience at the Mexicana suite which was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. The suite comes with a outdoor bbq and stove and was decked out with an amazing variety of sports equipment, games, books and toys. The daily animal feeding was very interesting with a good variety of animals and Ezie was super friendly and good with the kids! Can tell that the farm and accommodation are lovingly managed. Do enquire ahead on farm conditions as gum boots may be required depending on weather.

All the family went to Clandulla Cottages for my fathers 91st birthday. With ages ranging from 9mth to 91, it's a tall ask for any property to satisfy everyone.....but Clandulla Cottages certainly achieved this. The other children 4yrs to 12yrs loved feeding the animals and learning a little bit about farm life. There's plenty of room playing outside, in cubby house and swings or kick a ball. The Owners are extremely friendly, more than welcome to assist in anyway possible. The accommodation, with large decks front and back, along with interconnecting doors with each Cottage, made staying there a breeze

Fun fun fun ,absolutely love feeding the animals .The owners very friendly and helpful, informative and accomodating for all your needs. The room was clean and tidy . The Only thing I would I've liked was better Wi fi connection ,we couldn't get any. We were totally relaxed and it was close to Mt Tambourine which was nice to visit for the day. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Clandulla is a little slice of heaven dropped on our back doorstep. We live in Brisbane and it was a short 50 minute drive to absolute country bliss. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and there was an amazing range of animals for the kids to feed and pet.. twice per day! The accommodation was comfortable and we really appreciated the air conditioning on a 34 degree day. We stayed with 3 other families and had the most magnificent time. We will be doing an annual trip to Clandulla. Loved it!
