My husband and I have stayed at Thistledoo several times over the last 8 years and have always had a really lovely, comfortable stay. Gizzy and her family are always very welcome, the house is comfortable and convieniently situated and there is good facilities for surfer with boards and wetsuits etc.

I came here with some friends during the August bank holiday for a surf trip. We had a lovely time and we would definitely come back. The breakfast was great but the best thing is how lovely Gizzy is. See you next year!

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The room was very spacious and homely. Gizzy and her family were lovely and made our stay very enjoyable. It's good value and very clean also, in a beautiful village.

Arrived for a long weekend to enjoy the local village and stayed in the twin room at Thistledoo with the warmest welcome from Gizzy and family. Perfect location with close proximity to the beach and village pubs and it was ideal for our Coastal run. Highly recommend!

This is a good value, clean friendly B&B. Lovely place to stop for a visit to Croyde.

We had a great one night stay in the this friendly B&B Our family room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean (as was the whole of the house). The breakfast was fantastic. The owner, Gizzy, was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We just wish we had spent more time there!
