We had a modern apartment with bathroom, bedroom and living/eating space all superb. Instead of a balcony we had a table and chairs set outside on a walkway which led to steps down to the ground. Centered in the spa town of Bad Schandau the relaxed and welcoming managment style of this apartment hotel will both invite,calm and chill you out for your stay. Hotel is equipped with bar,restaurant,underground car park,free admission tickets to the museum next door(one could do worse) and small swimming pool. Staff are pleasant and friendly,rooms are spotless and tourist information abounds... More

We stopped overnight at the Apparthotel Am Schlossberg to break the journey between Prague and Dresden, travelling between Decin and Dresden by boat.
