This Residence Inn (Midtown - Navaho Dr) is getting a bit "long in the tooth", and is in need of some updating and attention. The lobby and breakfast area were just remodeled in the last year, but the room/suites are getting old and a bit shabby. The neighborhood is not the best, but since I have stayed there at least... We just returned from a three and half week trip to Raleigh. We explored our options and this hotel seemed like a good fit. It is close to downtown. We booked through AAA and you get discounts the longer you stay. The room was spacious and the kitchen fully equipped. Breakfasts are provided 7 days a week and dinners were... More

I stayed at the Residence Inn for one night in March 2012. The room was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even a fire log in the fireplace. Breakfast was so-so, but it was free. If you stay in Marriotts often, you know what I am talking about. The TV's were older but functional. The... More

I was visiting family in Greensboro / Highpoint area and decided to drive to the Raleigh-Durham area as I'd never been there before. The Residence Inn Raleigh was recommended to me by friends and I was not disappointed. I am a Marriott Rewards member. This hotel is nestled in residential neighborhood and has all the amenties that most Residence Inns... More

This is a nice, middle-of-the-road hotel with modern decor (I love red walls!) and large rooms. The best thing about it is that the rooms have working fireplaces, complete with free duraflame. There's also a tennis court (smaller than regulation) and a basketball half-court. The offer free breakfast and free dinner/drinks Mon-Thu. The only things I wasn't crazy about were... More

This is a very nice Residence Inn in a good location close to the Beltway. Checkin went well, room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Manager's reception was pleasant and definitely enough for dinner. Good breakfast also included in the price. Wifi and parking also complimentary. Very happy with this deal, would definitely stay here again.

Planning a 2 night Raleigh trip we looked for a reasonably-priced yet conveniently-situated venue. The Residence exceeded our expectations. Because it is set back from a busy street and the layout is in clusters of apartments, it is very quiet. Plenty of parking close to rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent and abundant complimentary breakfast. Comfortable, clean room. best of... More

I just stayed here with my family. The room was fantastic, clean, kitchen well-stocked, beds were comfortable, fireplace was a wonderful bonus! This was a great location: surrounded by restaurants, minutes from downtown museums, etc. We got to town incredibly early. They happened to have an available room and let us check in at 9:00am at no extra charge!! This... More
