Older motel, but rather nicely furnished with very helpful staff
There was nothig fancy about the hotel. It was clean, the breakfast offerings were good, and it was quiet. It was very close to Pilot Mountain State Park and had plenty of dining options in the area.
We stayed on 10/17/2011. Tired and ready to relax we checked in. We were given room 313. We brought in the luggage, went to dinner and came back. Once we were getting ready to settle in for the night I had to kill a roach in the sink. I thought it was a fluke and didn't worry about it. The...

Overnight stay on my way to Myrtle Beach. Very good access from the highway. Staff is friendly and manager was VERY helpful in getting the wifi internet access to my computer.
Choice of places to eat in the immediate area is pretty slim.
Value was good for me as a lone male looking for a place to stay overnight but...

We stopped here on our way back home from Myrtle Beach in Oct. 2011. This seemed to be the only hotel in Pilot Mountain and we were tired and looking for a place to sleep. This hotel seemed clean at first glance but we found dirt in the bathtub, the toilet was leaking onto the floor at the back. We...

Stayed at this hotel on our way to Myrtle Beach end of August 2011, first of Sept 2011. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean, had a few minor problems but nothing that would deter us from staying there again. Breakfast buffet in the AM was comparable to other hotels we have stayed at. Pool was clean and...

This was an overnight stay on the way to our vacation destination. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The outdoor pool was very nice and served it purpose (kids loved it)! Area attractions were well worth the stop. Take some time to check out Pilot Mountain and try Aunt Bea's -yummo. There's a MCDonald's next to the hotel with...

We tried to stay at this hotel on June 23rd. The first room had a broken door and wouldn't open. After being moved to another room that had obvious brown stains on the sheet and a 3rd room that was not yet cleaned we decided not to stay. The charge was supposed to be removed from my credit card and...

The Marquee outside said newly renovated, that must have happened back in the 1960's. The room had torn curtins, bed sheets that were stained and worn. The bathroom was shabby with a very bad tub leak and caulking falling off the wall. Most wall fixtures were not secure.
We had a non-smoking room next to a non-smoking room unfortunately the...
