Love the friendly, laid back atmosphere at the Beachcomber. Great vacation and lots of fun! Located right behind the store which is a convenience plus. Also close to Howard's Pub and Gaffers!!! Owners are GREAT!

First I want to say if you are camping you don't have a lot of choices on Ocracoke, it's a small island! We chose the Beachcomber over the other campground - the National Park Campground - because of location. It's right on the edge of town with restaurants surrounding. Awesome time at Beachcomber Campground. The new owners were very accommodating to everyone's needs. They were out asking if anyone needed anything... It was really nice to see an owner really care about their guests. We will definetly return. Would love to stay longer!!

Stayed there for 5 nights, had a blast. Really laid back, relaxing place. I definitely plan on going back. Owner is a super nice guy who really wants everyone to have a good stay. Clean bathhouse/restrooms, well kept grounds, nice size lots and convenient location.

Sean, Laurie and Jackson are the ultimate hosts. Just returned from a short vacation with great friends...had a truly wonderful time. The entertainment was a nice touch, along with Laurie's pizza. Sean and his wife are wonderful and want you to enjoy your vacation! One night they brought out pizza from the store and offered it to everyone. The food is good, the campsite is comfortable and they have entertainment some nights. They will do whatever it takes to make your trip a success.
