The staf is nice. However, the place does not look good. Stay there if you really need to sleep in Maggie Valley. Other than that, go to Waynesville. It is very good with more options and very close to Maggie Valley.

Preface: I booked this room last minute (and by last minute I mean at 10 pm the night I was staying) for one night in March. They generously offered to lower the rate a bit since they had empty rooms, so I got it for $59 on a Saturday night in March. Good luck with that during peak season, though…... More

There are no 5 star hotels in maggie valley. We stayed there to go skiing. Location was convenient. Quick check in. Places to eat close by. Room was pretty worn, but mattress was comfortable. There is a heated pool, which was nice in winter.

This hotel needs a renovation. Big time. The rooms are old, the doors broken, the beds old. It wasn't overly clean either. Found black hair in our bathtub and the drawers. Mold on the shower curtain. Bathroom fan broken. Very basic accommodations.

My family and I went up to Maggie Valley to do some snow skiing. When searching online for a hotel there were lots of mom and pop places, but we decided to stay in a chain because we thought it would be cleaner and more organized. Upon arrival I had to wait aprox 2 minutes for the lady to get... More

As title indicates, room was very nice, clean and affordable. Breakfast was included, but really not worthwhile. My family didn't get the room for the breakfast. (Didn't know about it until that morning) So we were still very pleased with the stay.

Friendly service, clean and comfortable room, and the breakfast was very satisfactory. We really loved visiting The Biltmore Estate, Grandfather Mountain above Asheville and Chimney Rock below Asheville.

Maggie Valley, for the most part, is over priced. However, it is a convenient central location to base out of for exploring the western North Carolina mountains. That said, this hotel is adequate for that purpose, but don't expect much more. My first impression about the hotel is, though fairly old, it is well maintained and very clean. The hotel... More
