The outside is nice as well as the lobby. However when you open the door to the room it then becomes a nightmare. There were bugs crawling around, stains in the chairs, stains in carpet. Nasty is the best way to descibe it. Bathroom doors wouldn't shut and you had to use drop cords for outlets. The owner was rude.... More

We got friendly service. The owners were great, took time out of her business morning to come and sit with us and talk. She told us the story of Maggie Valley and how it got it's name. “The outside may be enticing...but it all changes once you walk through the door.”

Don't go here. NASTY!! Clogged sink, no hot water, could not shut bathroom door, would not walk on floors without shoes on. Barking dog in pen 30' behind the motel. Paint peeling off ceiling and walls. Analog TV only. Creepy old man peeking in whenever you opened the door. Deadbolt lock didn't work.
