We had a great time at the Ranch. We first booked a room that was upstairts, very small I must say, so we decided to upgrade to a better one for an extra $20. This room was spacious, had a jacuzzi and a beautiful view of the hills. Breakfast and dinner were included, the food was good. There was one... More

We have been thinking of checking out skiing in the Northeast for a few months, but waited till the last minute to plan this weekend get away. We weren't sure if the skiing would be a bust or not so we needed a place that would be entertaining regardless. We were not disappointed. We opted to rent rooms at the... More

The cabin we stayed in was so cozy and had all the ammenities we could ask for. The grounds were beautiful, and we are already planning to return this Summer to horseback ride and go fishing. However, the best thing about our stay was the southern hospitality and delicious home cooking! We couldn't have been more comfortable than if we... More

It is early November and beautiful 60 degree weather here at Chattahoochee Ranch and even though we have begged and offered to pay more money they refuse to let us to a all day horse back ride because its "too cold" ITS 60 DEGREES!!!!!! I'm a professional chef and the food sucks. Never coming back. EVER!!!!!!!

Everything thats comes out of that kitchen is either boxed, canned, or frozen. Im not sure if the cook there knows how to cook anything good. It was underseasoned and over done. The fried chicken there was a joke, it comes out of the freezer. I mean I thought I was in the south but no self respecting southerner would... More

I love this place. It is the epitome of the Southern Blueridge Mountains. It is a place where the food is outstanding, the views are unimaginably beautiful and the cabins are rustic, (perfect to complete the experience). There are fireplaces in all the cabins. The main lodge has an enormous fireplace, taller than me! It is completely different than any... More

If you are looking for a beautiful place to disconnect then this is great. We stayed in the Dogwood cabin which has fantastic views of the Smokies from it's deck. The cabin is fairly new, very comfortable and clean with a nice two person jacuzzi. The Ranch is in a fantastic location and all the descriptions are accurate... but. My... More

We had a lovely time. A few specific comments I haven't seen addressed: - We stayed in the main ranch house and really enjoyed it. We were the only guests in the house for one of the nights we were there. The house makes meals very easy to get to, and we could hear the evening entertainment from the comfort... More

There is an adjustment period at the Ranch. You have to surrender yourself to the experience. When you do, you will find a rare gem of an experience that far transcends simply renting a cabin the mountains. Watching our 7 year old make new friends and explore the "swamp monster" marsh by the pond and seeing her connect with the... More

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at the ranch. The site is beautiful, especially now with the stunning autumn colors. Breakfast is hearty and included in the room price, as is dinner. The meals are family style, and this is fun as you get to meet the other guests. Everyone is friendly and the staff is super....
