Historic inn is just steps away from downtown Hendersonville so we were able to walk to dinner, which was a delight. Our room and bathroom were larger than my studio NYC apartment from years ago. Free wi-fi was available although the password was so convoluted you'd think the inn was protecting national secrets. Breakfast was noting to write home about.

Wonderful place to stay in Hendersonville. If you're traveling through and not sure on stopping, do so. The Inn is a block from downtown and a ton of great local restaurants. Here's the review I put together on Globetrekkin': http://www.globetrekk.in/2012/05/02/claddagh-inn-hendersonville-nc/

We stayed here because we wanted to be within walking distance of downtown and the Waverly next door was booked. The inn has a policy of no changes to reservations less than one week out but they changed mine regardless when I had to change my plans due to a multi-day power outage at home. Check-in went well and the... More

We've been visiting the Claddagh, annually, for years, and expect to continue. Their staff is always most hospitable, and it's only about a block down Main St. to the "center" of Hendersonville. It's an aged B&B, and rooms are furnished modestly, but we've never had plumbing or other problems - just expect a B&B, not a Hilton. Their wi-fi works... More

I had to change my reservation the day before from a queen bed to two beds, and they were quite accommodating (i ended up with two twin beds). They were nice and polite. The location is great because we could walk into town from there. Breakfast was pretty good, it was a little strange, because they leave out coffee/tea/juice and... More

My husband and Iwent several weeks ago. It was the most bizarre experience. We were told to pick out a table. We did. Checked the food. One table had only sweet pastries/breads. Another had plates of almost empty of different meats/cheeses, another had meats and cheeses, also almost empty. Checked out the buffet entries, didn't have what was advertised, by the... More

This place sites right next to one of the nicest B&B's in town, the Waverly. We didn't walk into the Waverly, but right away that means the location is good, and that's why I mention it - because the location is really perfect, less than 3 minutes into downtown and all the great shops and restaurants there. Back to the... More

Highly disappointing. Lovely location, beautiful from the outside. However, from the peeling paint to the filthy carpeting, on to the rattling radiators, grimy windows with rotting wood, clogged drains in the sink, on-and-off hot water in the shower...totally unacceptable. Our room on the third floor faced the street and the noise coming through the uninsulated windows made sleep a challenge.... More
