Edenton is a wonderful and quiet town for a getaway and the Granville Queen is a great place to stay--grand, wonderfully appointed, friendly and a great value. Walking distance to downtown and waterfront.

Fabulous in every way. Architecturally, gorgeous home. Stayed in room 106 on third floor...steps fairly easy. Beautifully carved old-fashiioned furniture (you don't see it like that anymore). Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere so relaxing. Make an extra effort to visit this Queen of bed and breakfasts. The waterfront is steeped in history and the surrounding area worth exploring.

Stayed in room 102 on 2nd floor. Huge room with fireplace, access to sitting area on balcony. Large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Coffee pot already filled with water to make coffee making that much easier. Homemade cookies, cheese and crackers available in afternoon.
