Came here recently with some friends for a local college reunion. The staff was friendly and the beds very comfortable, but the water in the shower was not really hot and the hotel bar closed ridiculously early. We had about 25 guests stay at this Marriott Hotel for my son's wedding. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The free shuttle really helped in getting folks to places of interest. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. Some very good restaurants a block or two from the hotel. Very reasonable pricing.

Wonderful hotel full of staff that are aiming to please you in any way possible. The valet parking staff, the front desk staff, the room staff...they were all awesome and extremely attentive to our needs. Beautiful Marriott in Downtown Durham. Within 3-4 walking blocks of DPAC and many resturants and coffee shops. We didn't book a corner room on the concierge level, but were given one (thank you!).
