Stayed seven nights for a convention in the Convention Center in July 2011. Hotel is nice and clean, not new, but quite OK. You can walk practically all the way inside (air-conditioned) through several blocks to the CC, passing by food courts, shops and office atriums. All in all, a good stay. Nothing special, but a well-functioning business hotel.

I stayed on an upper floor (9th) and had an incredible view of the Hearst Tower. Comfortable beds. Excellent service upon check-in and check-out. Seemed pretty quiet overall. Conveniently located to nearby restaurants, movie theater. If you're here for business downtown, imagine it would be perfect location.
