Awesome. My son and I got a room during the off season on the spur of the moment and had a view of the ocean. Rooms were great. Amenities were great. And service was great. We stayed here years ago with my family during the season and were glad to see nothing's changed.

I needed to find a last minute place to stay before taking the ferry off of Hatteras. I booked this online based on what I could find online. The staff was excellent and the rooms were good. Nothing fancy, but a good rate, solid room and great staff that was close to everything in Buxton.

Every thing was great. I was there off season but staff was great and nice. Referred to local restaurants and the Orange Bloosom bakery they referred looks like a dive but glad they referred it bc it was awesome! The place was clean and that is what matters the most. Plus very reasonable!

Stayed here while traveling to Cape Hatteras for work. The hotel was clean & the staff was friendly. Located close to the lighthouse & beach access. Wish the WiFi connection had been better, I had some trouble sending emails. But, for the price, I was definitely pleased. Would love to revisit during warmer months.

If you are looking for a resort getaway spot, keep looking. If you want a cozy love nest, Nope. We stayed at the Hatteras Island Inn on an emergency trip to the OBX. It was the only place open 24 hours on the island and we arrived late at night.
