I stayed here while my son visited Appalachian State. I didn't expect it to be fancy since it's a learning hotel center, but I did expect it to be clean. It was not. One lampshade and the iron were broken and the curtain was torn and mildewed. Another lamp had a burned out bulb. There were cobwebs in the corners.... More

Stayed here when moving our son into ASU. The good points were, it was very convenient being "on campus" and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good; the wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes & wines available. The down side was the room was very out-dated;... More

We came to Boone in late July and all the hotels were full. The clerk at a competitor sent us to the Broyhill and we really appreciate it. It is undoubtedly the best reasonably priced stay in Boone. The room was very clean and the staff was exceptional! My wife and daughter both have food allergies and the staff sent... More

We stayed overnight and found the place to be comfortable, clean and huge. The room was dated, with old style Tv, sink out in sleeping area, dirty carpet and small bath. We dined in dining room, which provided large viewing windows, but, with no view, non-experienced service staff, but, food was average, but, costly. The front desk clerk was hard... More

The room was clean but the check in and food service is sub-par. Breakfast was mediocre.

"sink-me", thank you for your honest feedback on your stay with us. We are currently looking to upgrade our continental breakfast offerings, mostly in part to feedback from folks like yourself. Thank you. If you have some specific feedback regarding the check-in process, I would like to know what your concerns are. You can email me at broyhillinn@gmail.com. Thanks again,... More

Adequate, but disappointing for the price. While set in a beautiful location, the rooms are small, outdated, faded, and musty smelling. The room was generally clean, but mine had a used, unclean glass on the sink. The continental breakfast offered much fewer choices than you find at cheaper motel chains. Overall disappointed in my stay there for the price.

Rates were reasonable. The view during lunch and dinner in the dining room were very nice. The food was great. The Continental breakfast and that eating area needs improvement. The rooms, bathrooms and outside need updating but the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had friends in town and wanted to let their entire group use our home. So we packed up for a mini vacation and checked into the Broyhill. Our room was outdated, smelled musty, was tiny and had huge discussing stains on the upholstered chair. The bathroom was small and there was mold growing on the shower chalking. While the... More

Was here for a conference. There is no elevator (or if there is we could not find it). One room was very very small and there was a french fry under the bedside table. Was trying to find an electrical outlet for the cellphone charger. Our room was bigger but the shower was hard to work. One of our party... More

Thank you for your honesty. We are planning a guestroom renovation this late winter, early spring.. The rooms will be enhanced with new double queen beds, new bedding etc and we hope to be able to do some work on the showers and tubs while we have them out of order. Thank you, Doug, at the Broyhill Inn More

First, the good news. Great location on campus and one of the cheaper hotels in Boone. But you get what you don't pay for. The hotel Is OLD and in serious need of an update. Breakfast was one of the worst I've seen at a hotel. And the bathroom is super small. The rooms are small and smell musty. Overall,... More
