My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at the lovely Red Rocker Inn. The charming Inn is located close to the artsy downtown Black Mountain. Our room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The Inn has a superb restaurant with a great selection of homemade desserts. The coconut cake is awesome, 5-stars, beats Charleston’s Peninsula Grill’s coconut cake. We... More

My husband and I loved this B&B! Clean, and quiet. The Innkeepers are sweet, hard working people that take pride in their business...it makes the entire difference! The food was spectacular, both for breakfast and dinner. We stayed here three nights, and we highly enjoyed the privacy and spaciousness of our room--Elizabeth's Attic. We HIGHLY recommend the Red Rocker Inn... More

I will return in the future as the experience was pleasant and refreshing. The food was delicious and plentiful. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of shopping in town and within walking distance.

This is our favorite place in Black Mountain to stay! The breakfast buffet is killer! This morning we had an egg, cheese and sausage fratta, cheese grits, homemade biscuits (thank you Doug), bacon and Carrot Cake Pancakes!!! That is what I had, they also had cooked apples, hashbrowns, link & pattie sausage, toast & fresh fruit, 4 juices and coffee!!!... More

Just stayed before Christmas at the Red Rocker Inn. I have stayed at many B & B's, some very well known and others off the beaten path. This place is lovely in every way. The hosts are friendly yet still allow you privacy and do everything to make your stay pleasant. The accomodations are super, the food is delicious and... More

The Red Rocker is a very pleasant accomodation, a bit of an inn with a full service restaurant and comfortable rooms. The staff really make this place shine, from Doug and his wife, to the housekeeping crew, everyone is welcoming and very accomodating to your needs. We stayed in a lovely room, immaculate and well appointed. We looked into serveral... More

Lovely restored inn full of charm and solicitous, friendly staff. We had dinner there and enjoyed a delicious trout almondine with roasted cauliflowers, full of flavor and beautifully plated. Very comfortable and convenient, worthy of our highest recommendation.

We stayed in the Blue Ridge room, it was spacious, very comfortable, romantic and beautifully decorated.. Large bathroom with jetted tub and separate shower. The owners and service staff were friendly and made us feel so welcome and special. A delicious breakfast each morning started our day so nicely. We decided on a last minute trip to visit the beautiful Black Mountain, called on Friday afternoon for a room that evening. The Innkeeper secured a the Blue Ridge Room for the evening. Location: Great walking distance to downtown Black Mountain. A very safe neighborhood! Building: Very nice, a little old and possibly could be called awkward - due to... More
