As a Birder the Bellport Inn is a treat to have so close to Lake Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge. Excellent rooms, excellent breakfast and Yvinne is a delight to talk with. Truly a gret experience. I highly recommend a weekend trip to the Refuge and stay at The Bellport.

This is a great place to stay with large, clean, comfortable rooms. Great homecooked breads, muffins, and homemade granola. Quiet, relaxing and hosts are warm and friendly.

The beautifully appointed themed rooms were spotless and comfortable. The Inn Keeper was kind and interesting having traveled the world. Her breakfasts were delicious and varied. I actually stayed in June 2010 but April 2011 was earliest available date to select on this review page. The rooms are lovely and each room has a theme.
