We stayed for the Beaufort Music Festival May 10-11 when other B&Bs were charging more than twice the rates than here at this charming artist's house where we had a comfortable clean room and bathroom. Mary prepares a simple breakfast with coffee, juice, fruit, bagels and cake. If you want the works, it's just a few minutes walk to the... More

May 10 & 11, The Beaufort Music Festival was held in Beaufort, NC. We have visited Beaufort in the past and have stayed at the "Old Seaport Inn", small B&B on Turner street. While there we walked all over town, including walking to the BMF and back to the B&B easily since the Inn is only a few blocks from... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Old Seaport Inn in Beaufort, NC and had a great experience. Mary, the innkeeper is super hospitable but still gives you plenty of space. The inn only has three rooms making it feel quaint and intimate. The inn itself has by far the very best sheets I've ever slept on and the... More

Hello.....We appreciate your stay. Your comments about the sheets and coffee couldn't be better. Getting your friends together to take all three rooms upstairs would be a pleasure. Let us know. More

My husband and I were just there over the weekend, and I have to agree with the comment on one of the post about the owner never seen, until it was time to collect money and the end of the stay. We have stayed in many B & B"s over the year"s I myself do not eat breakfast but my... More

We appreciate and enjoy all of our guests. I do find this review a bit off course. My web site mentions that we serve a simple continental breakfast, bagels, pasteries, coffee, tea, fruit and juice. As far as the upstairs thermostat goes, I do not adjust it. That is for our quest to set to make themselves comfortable. We do... More

The Inn is clean and comfortable, Mary's art is wonderful, and we loved the choice of classic lines. (Why so many B&B owners feel like they have to make everything "Victorian" fussy with dusty dollies on everything is beyond me- this place was the exception.) Old Seaport Inn is simple, pleasant and has great lighting! Location is excellent. I had... More

Recently my girlfriend and I visited Beaufort and stayed at the Old Seaport Inn. This Inn is charming, easily walking distance from downtown Beaufort and about fifteen minutes drive from the surrounding beaches. The rooms have antique furnishings, which give them the quaint and charming character that this places embodies. They're immaculately clean and the bedding is very comfy as... More

Just returned home from a weekend stay in Beaufort, NC at the Old Seaport Inn. Absolutely beautiful inn, wonderful owner, comfortable and quaint rooms, and really convenient location. The breakfast is continental and includes bagels, pastries, bananas and coffee/tea/juice. The best part, the Inn is soooo reasonably priced! I will definitely be back.

Mary, the owner, is an artist with a gallery that doubles as the breakfast area. Modest breakfast, but fresh and hot coffee, fresh bagels and muffins, fruit cups and fresh bananas as well as fruit juices and tea. Since we arrived on Labor Day and stayed for 3 nights we were the only guests in the house. There were 3... More

Our names are Patrick and Sarah from Lynchburg,Va. We stayed at the Old Seaport Inn in late September, 2011. This wonderful inn is so lovely and the location is beyond fabulous. The Inn is only a block from the waterfront and very convenient to town and restaurants. There are Antiques in the bedrooms and the art is by the owner. All in all, a lovely time in Beaufort, NC.
