My friends rented the entire property for the evening and I had a small room at the end of a 3-room building on the property. It was in a location that was fun to drive to, and the main building had many places to walk around inside and sit. There were also grounds that one could wander lost in thought... More

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying that the Hillside Inn. It is a beautiful old inn and innkeepers Paula and JD go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. They were very generous and attentive. They made us feel like we've known them for years (they also throw an incredible Halloween Party that can't be missed).... More

This is one of our favorites restaurants to stop at during drives in the countryside. It is about an hour from Rochester. We have never spent the night, but totally enjoy the restaurant and "pub".The building is a little sad, it was grand in its day. There are different dining areas and a breakfast nook room. The evening menu has... More

Once a year my sister and I go on a girlfriends weekend with sisters, friends, sister in laws and nieces. Each year we go somewhere different and stay at a B&B. This year we decided to take an extra trip to the Apple Umpkin festival and stayed at the Hillside Inn. It turned out to be an absolutely wonderful place.... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hillside in. My fiance and I went for a combo celebration of my birthday and our 5 year anniversary as a couple. Paula and JD were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The rest of the staff was amazing too. During lunch we had a few drinks at the... More

The inn is a wonderful combination of old and new - our room had all the details of yesteryear combined with a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a private porch. I had several meals while there and all were excellent. The property is ~30 acres and has wonderful views and great breezes.

The food was excellent. The owners were great. We had a great time and loved listening to the history of the Inn!

My late teen daughter and I stayed one night and splurged on a jacuzzi room. It was very pretty and clean. It is an 185 old building, so it has it's cracks and creaks but we enjoyed it. Dinner at the inn was really good! I had the osso bucco, which was fabulous, and my daughter had grilled cheese which... More

Due to a family emergency I needed to cancel a trip planned to the area. It took 3 days for the owner to respond. While the owner explained that I could reuse the deposit (nonrefundable) for another trip, due to this emergency I would not be revisiting the area. After reading the reviews about the location, I was skeptical about... More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn a few years ago, but stayed in one of the main rooms and not in the cottage. This year we stayed in the cottage and were dismayed when we entered our room. It was a cool fall day but the sun beating into the room without the air conditioning on made it... More
