We needed a place to sleep for a couple of days while visiting friends and relatives in the vicinity. We chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor recommendations and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is not entirely easy to find as Westchester Avenue is split on two sides of the highway and you have to know which side the... More

I arrived just before 11pm and after the long walk to the room (and far off the elevators), I opened the door to a bolted lock, the room was already occupied! I went back to the front desk and NO apology at all, just asked me to confirm my name. I then tried to order room service, but because of... More

The lobby and general facilities are in one building, and the rooms are in a totally separate building. After going in the lobby and checking in, you have to get back on the main road and drive around to the building with the rooms. To get from one building to another, you walk through a tunnel. The buildings look very... More

Truly a difficult place to find given the hotels location amid a phalanx of interstates, one way streets, and never ending white plains construction. But once we got here it was very nice. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds at a decent rate for the quality. Didnt like to pay for coffee and $12 wifi. Breakfast was decent and people working... More

We arrived late. The check-in and the room were all great. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was great with the exception of the Latte that comes out of the machine already sweetened. They were great about switching it for a regular coffee without any hassle or delay. The kids enjoyed the pool before we checked out... More

We were looking for a hotel close to Manhattanville College, and there were few bargains in the area. We got a half price deal on a Priceline bid. It is an odd setup a the offices and restaurant are in different areas. The people at the desk were very friendly upon check in. WIFI had a $12 cost and no... More

Stayed here on a recent business trip to the area. We normally stay at the Ritz Carlton but it was full. The Renaissance is fine (once you find it). Rooms acceptable but a very long walk from reception (pain if you forget something or your room card fails). The lifts also get very busy at peak times. We (along with... More

We have family that live nearby and have stayed here once before. I think it was about four years ago. We just stayed here this past wekend. The hotel is definitely off the beaten path and has an unusual layout. The main lobby, restaurant and bar are in one building and the building where the rooms are located are in... More

I've stayed at this hotel maybe 30 times for a few days on each occasion. It is consistently clean and well kept up with comfortable beds and reasonably large rooms. On weekends it gets busy with weddings, Bar Mitzvah celebrations and other parties, but there's no problem with losing your reservation, ever. The food in the bar is surprisingly good...... More

am on a four night, four city 'tour' of the east coast and this was my first night. when these hotels are updated, they are indeed gems. suffice to say this one (as of March 2012) was not yet fixed up and is pretty tired. the guest rooms are removed from the main building via a long ramp which is...
