Our stay at AKA was terrific! Great location, downtown shopping and local restaurants, right near train station to Manhattan. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will certainly go back and recommend to our friends and family.

the receptionists are very friendly and you can always count on them. The rooms were very nice and clean. it has a pretty modern design and in the rooms it is zo quite, that sleeping isn't any problem!

the penthouse suite is the most perfect place to stay at while visiting New York..the teenager enjoyed the society + was invited on parties..the neighbourhood is clean and safe..day and night train services..nice restaurants and bars..friendly people

I agree with previous reviewer - this is not a hotel. It is a place intended for longer stays. I made reservations many, many months ago for the 2 bedroom/2 bath penthouse. I talked to Jodi who never mentioned that if someone was currently occupying the suite that we would be "bumped" which is what happened. I can certainly understand... More

AKA is not a hotel. Each unit is an apartment. There are no hotel amenities. There is no daily maid service, no restaurant in the building (so no room service). If you need an apartment for a long stay, this place is probably okay but nothing special. The bathroom was tiny.
