Within The Bays was the third stop on our tour of New Zealand and we were not disappointed with our choice. The house is really beautiful and is in an absolutely stunning location. “A truly uniqe experience”

We chose this accommodation as part of our honeymoon. The house was amazing with beautiful views from both the bedroom and main living area which guests are free to use and we certainly did. For us: Looking after newly weds, preparing breakfast with "bubbly", tickets to The Lost Spring thermal pools and setting the table with all the candles for the romantic dinner, is fun to do. Hans and Annemarie share their home with their guests. They are perfect hosts. Within the Bays has a very high standard of accommodation and a wonderful view from the lounge and bedroom. We stayed for 5 days at Within the Bays and despite the rain, our stay was very enjoyable because of Annemarie & Hans. Good conversation, excellent home brewed beer, wonderful view and extremely helpful - they were the perfect hosts. The dialup connection wasn't helpful, but it is good to be disconnected from time to time, so this still counts... More

We planned our holiday in New Zealand well in advance and did a very thorough research of all options available in Coromandel. We finally went for for the best view possible, comfortable 5 star accommodation, and an opportunity to get a glimpse of the local culture by interacting directly with local people. What a lovely review! Thank you so much! As for the fact that your room didn’t have a key: we have found a solution. The door has now been fitted with a privacy latch that doesn’t restrict the opening width. The room will therefore remain fully wheelchair accessible. More
