We stayed here for 3 too short days in a very clean, comfortable and privately situated chalet 'The Millers'. It is a beautiful, peaceful, magical place. As Brits we were thrilled to see the kangaroos come to feed right in front of our chalet. Margo and Don are exceptional hosts - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area with a... More

Lovely setting beside the Frankland River. The Chalets are widely spaced apart and the peaceful site has been well landscaped with native bushes to attract wildlife. Our chalet was very well equipped and comfortable with great views. The owners have put in a bush walk and the more adventurous can use their canoes and fish on the river. Would definitely return... We stayed here whilst on a tour of South West WA. Having only spent one night in a few locations we thought this might continue but minutes after arriving and being shown to our chalet we decided to ask if we could stay longer - that was a great move, if only we had had more time to stay even... We stayed here en route to the Tree Top Walk and were disappointed we only chose to stay overnight. After seeing the accommodation and (more importantly) the surroundings, we both wanted to stay a week to really relax. On arriving we were warmly welcomed, shown around the lodge and given some excellent advice on things to do and see nearby.... More

As soon as we arrived at the riverside retreat we knew we had a made a very good choice. A very warm welcome awaited us; we were shown to our chalet in which the cosy fire had already been lit to keep us warm. The chalet was spacious, very warm, very clean and comfortable, had great views, contained absolutely everything... More

I loved this place. After a couple of hectic days travelling, we stumbled upon this place following a recommendation from a nearby tourist information centre, and couldnt have been happier. The host immediatley made us feel welcome and the room was perfect. Clean, quiet, and very relaxing. My biggest regret was not staying longer.

Well situated, nicely maintained, comfortable and exceptionally good value self catering accommodation set in its own large estate on the banks of the Normalup Inlet. The owners are wildlfe enthusiasts who are trying to encourage the rare Quokka (a small marsupial). It was quite cold when we stayed but with a large wood stove and electric blankets, our cottage kept... More
