I was taught as a youngster if you had nothing nice to say you should not say anything. I feel this best describes the facilities and our stay at Rest Point Holiday Village. Happy to share them on a more personal level. but I cannot recommend this place at all until it has a major over hall.

We have been going to Rest Point for many years and find it very enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you with what ever you need.The fishing is great most of the time. We highly recommend it.

Very disappointed that the facilities had not improved since last time. Used Rest point as a final leg to get home after touring further south. First went to Rest Point in 1955. Facilities were a little different then, cold showers, cart water from a spring, fishing was great. Been going there ever since, my daughters love the place. Best location. Having a nice time until some drunken yobbos started blasting a karaoke set, equipt with amplifiers. We made a noise complaint along with other clients but management chose to ignore it. Worst service, please look for other accommodation. The facilities are akin to cesspits. Avoid.

The lovely lady at Walpole tourist info guided us to this place and said the kids would love it.We where greeted at the entrance to the sight of 12" deep pot holes filled with muddy water.The chalet that we where given was actually a three bedroom attachment to the main building.I would estimate it would be at least 80+ years... Fantastic location on Walpole Inlet, lots of wildlife with kangaroos and emus wandering through the park. Pelicans, sea eagles and many other water birds.
