We stayed here for 2 nights in April and fully endorse all the positive comments made below. Spacious, modern studio room tastefully furnished, opening onto a courtyard with a good sized swimming pool. It's in a quiet residential street within short walking distance from the waterfront and restaurants. Fridge and micro-wave in room. Breakfast supplies are provided in the room... More

Kalbarri is surprising. We only had two nights here, but wished we had booked for longer. There is a lot to do - try the canoeing with Mike - with walks and canoeing available as well as the beach and a number of other activities. Nautilus Retreat is a lovely B and B with everything you need to make your... More

We spent 2 nights at Nautilus in October 2011 with our 4 month old son. On chatting with Debbie, it was clear this is more usually a B&B for couples (not child friendly due to the pool right outside the door), however Debbie could not have been more accomodating to make our whole family feel welcome. The location is in... More

What can we say? Everything was PERFECT - Debbie is a charming host who loves what she does and we really enjoyed talking with her; the studio is immaculate, very nicely decorated, with everything you need and more (microwave, fridge, etc); the breakfast prepared by Debbie every night is delicious (fresh fruit, yoghourt, fruit juice, bread, jam) as well as... We stayed at the Nautilus Retreat for three nights and it was very pleasant. Nautilus is situated in a residential area not far from the beach and consists of one self-contained room with a comfortable queen-size bed, en-suite, kitchen and dining area, TV, DVD and Movies, Radio and magazines. We loved the addition of dressing gowns in the wardrobe! The... More

This nicely decorated appartment attached to the house had everything we needed. Breakfast was adequate, with fresh fruit, cereal and yoghurt. Not on the waterfront , but only a few minutes walk to everything. Debbie was a gracious host.

In 2010, we spent 9 weeks cycling across Europe, staying each night in the equiviant of B & B's. Debbie's place, Nautalis, far exceeded any experience we had in Europe. You will not be disappointed. Very clean and pleasantly appointed. Home-made fruit cake and "Butter" greatly appreciated. Thankyou Debbie for your hospitality.

Real B&Bs are quite scarce up the Mid West coast of Western Australia. Most accommodation is in the form of multi-bedroom holiday units, which is not what a couple staying just a few nights really wants. Nautilus Retreat B&B is the real thing and as good as it gets. There is just the one room, ideally designed for a hot... More
